The Pride of the Prairie - Manitoba Bred Barrel Race! Exclusively for horses bred in Manitoba. We are looking to promote the breeders in Manitoba through this race and reward barrel racers for running Manitoba bred horses.
A "breeder" is defined as the individual or ranch listed as 'breeder' on the horse's registration papers and must be located as residing in Manitoba. The "breeder" is the owner of the service stallion at time of service.
This event has amalgamated with the Manitoba Bred sidepot in the 2026 Rick Wiebe Memorial Charity Barrel Race.
