Rocking W Barrel Series 2019 Finals Results
And that's a wrap on our 10th year of the Rocking W Barrel Series! Once again, it's bittersweet seeing it end. Everyone is always excited for the Tuesday nights to start and the lead up to Finals is intense and then it's over!
We had a great set of qualifying jackpots; the weather cooperated with us up until the day before Finals. Fortunately this year we were still able to run Finals on the scheduled date. We pushed back the start time a couple of hours to get some extra drying time in and it made a difference. Though competitors still had to run in the mud, it wasn't quite as bad as it would have been without those 2 extra hours of sun and wind.
It was so exciting to see everyone make their Finals runs and tabulating the results; to see the fruits of everyone's labour. Not everyone's Finals turned out like they had hoped and despite that, we truly appreciate the sportsmanship displayed through it all. Whether you won, or lost or landed somewhere in the middle - you did each of those graciously.
Here's to you all! A great 10th Annual Series, great competitors, wonderful volunteers, amazing sponsors and all the support! We can't thank you enough! We are super excited for 2020!
